Spending time on her family’s ranch with her sons is Becky Gruenwald, a North State business owner and mother of 17-year-old Lane (in gray), 14-year-old Tate (back row, right), and 12-year-old Wade (front). Becky and her family have enjoyed owning and operating Country Pumpkins in Orland for 14 years. They also enjoy whitewater rafting, kayaking, raising animals, fishing, and triathlons.

Three Socks, an American quarter horse, enjoys the company of Greta Hanelt and her 4-year-old daughter Cora. Now living in Mt. Shasta, Greta grew up in Montana’s ranch country. She has a great love for horses and has been horseback riding since she was 3 years old. Young Cora began riding at age 2.
