Hill Country C.A.R.E. Center; Redding. Provides rapid access to professional help for people who are overwhelmed by emotional distress, traumatic events or severe life stressors. Additional activities include peer support, education groups, pre-crisis and emergent crisis access to mental health professionals, case management and more. Also, the center is designed to help foster youth and their caregivers by providing supportive services and training. (C.A.R.E. stands for Counseling and Recovery Engagement.) Parent Cafés; Redding. Attend a Parent Café where moms, dads and primary caregivers build off each others’ experiences to solve problems that could affect their own families.
