Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). CASA volunteers are community members appointed to advocate for abused & neglected children in the court system. Volunteers meet regularly with their appointed children and people in the children’s lives, then write a court report & recommendation on behalf of the children.

Northern California Anti-Trafficking Coalition (NCAT). Shasta County-based coalition seeks to raise awareness of and end sex trafficking in Northern California.
