Chico Children’s Museum. With almost 7,000 square feet of exhibit space, the museum is focused on encouraging children and their caregivers to connect with imaginative play. Over the fall and winter, visitors will find an updated sensory room for a calming, therapeutic space for children; improvements to

Chico Down Syndrome Connection.

Special Needs Carnival; Durham. For children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. A safe, accepting haven for those with special needs and their families. Carnival goers have access to a wide range of activities tailored specifically for individuals with disabil- ities, including face painting, a bounce house, adapted games and crafts, sensory activities, a cakewalk, superheroes and other characters.
