Every year the anticipation of summer quickly gives way to confusion about how quickly it passes. This month, we have the chance to grab on to slower moments and make memories before the school bells start ringing. A few of the simple pleasures to enjoy in August include local history outings and cool dips in the water followed by relaxing evenings reading at home. Take it slow, enjoy every minute, and be refreshed and recharged when school comes around.
