The Junior Board’s goal is to break down the barriers to entry that many new artists face when seeking to exhibit their work in museum and gallery spaces. The monca Junior Board is composed of high school and college students from Butte County who are working to create youth-focused art opportunities and promote artistic engagement to their peers. DESCRIPTION:Head over to monca for our annual yART Sale to sift through donated goods and find treasures! Everything from used books\, craft supplies\, furniture\, and more will be available at low prices during monca’s yART Sale. \nFind something new to you while supporting monca’s commitment to sustainability and inclusion. \nThe yART Sale takes place outside of the museum along the sidewalk on the corner of Esplanade and E. Washington Ave. The museum will be closed during the event. \nAll proceeds go toward monca’s continuing growth and community development. \nThank you to all those who donated lightly used items to the museum. Your participation and passion helps us put on such amazing events! \nDonations accepted during museum hours Thursday through Sunday 11-5pm. Please let the front desk know you’re here for a donation\, and they will guide you to the back for drop-off. If you’d like a tax donation form\, be sure to pick one up. \nPlease note: We’re not accepting donations of clothing\, shoes or old computers/electronics. \nAll leftover items will be donated to local secondhand stores.
