Sign-ups online and in-person begin May 15 at any Shasta Public Libraries location in Anderson, Burney or Redding. A great way to keep the mind active during the summer break while having fun with friends and family at the library. Designed to encourage children, teens and adults to read during the summer months, the program aims to foster a love for reading, improve literacy skills and provide a fun way to engage with books and stories. Participants set individual reading goals. Rewards such as bookmarks, certificates, or small prizes for reaching reading milestones.
