SHASTA COUNTY

Shasta Land Trust. Learn about our local ecosystems, wildlife, and the natural wonders of our biodiverse region. Events include family-friendly hikes, bike rides, movie screenings & more! Mount Shasta Trail Association; Mt Shasta. Connects people to nature and communities to one another in south Siskiyou County. Volunteer opportunities to maintain beautiful areas in the region. SUTTER COUNTY

Middlemountain Hikes; Sutter. Hike into the world’s smallest mountain range with Middle Mountain Interpretive Hikes! People are drawn to the Sutter Buttes, whether they live in the area or are just traveling by them. The Buttes are an iconic ten-mile-wide circle of volcanic peaks that are dramatically isolated in the center of the Sacramento Valley.  There are a series of county roads that encircle the Sutter Buttes, and Pass Road goes through them on the southside.
