Youth/Peer Court; Redding. Focuses on
a restorative justice program rather than punishment. Shasta County youth ages 14-18 may volunteer as peer jurors & attor- neys in Youth/Peer Court, where offenders’ cases are heard & sentenced. For the of- fender, after his/her sentence is successful- ly completed without reoffending while in the program, the offense record is cleared.
