WHAT IS 211?
211 NorCal is a free, confidential telephone helpline and website that connects people with over 1,800 programs available in the North State. 211 is available in over 150 languages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for both everyday needs and times of crisis.
211 NorCal is available in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and soon-to-be Plumas counties.
WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
                                                               Basic Human Needs
Food banks, clothing closets, shelters, rent, utility assistance, and more
Employment Support
Financial assistance, job training, education programs, and veterans services
Children Youth and Families
Childcare, after- school programs, Head Start, summer camps, recreation, and foster care and adoption
Support for Seniors & People with Disabilities
Adult daycare, congregate meals, respite care, home health care, and independent living
