Shingletown Historical Society Museum; Shingletown. A living resource of innovative exhibits for teachers, students, historians, residents, and visitors. The Museum at Turtle Bay; Redding. The Museum at Turtle Bay is where art, science, history, forestry, and horticulture meet with permanent exhibits about our region and changing exhibitions from around the world. Our special Exhibitions Halls have hosted interactive, interesting displays from around the country. Year-round at Turtle bay you can get up-close and personal at the Visible River Aquarium, take a walk through a reproduc- tion of the Shasta Caverns, and learn about
the rock formations that make caves unique. Discover more about the lives of the Wintu people that call this area home by visiting the Cedar Bark House in the center of the Museum. Learn more about the Sundial Bridge’s debut on the Sacramento River

Etna Museum; Etna. Located in Etna’s first town hall, which was built to resemble Philadelphia’s Independence Hall. The hall also housed the fire department, library and jail. Heritage Junction Museum Of McCloud; McCloud. Located in a historic 1904 build- ing, the museum offers a large collection of artifacts, including the giant Corliss steam engine that powered the McCloud sawmill from 1903-1979.
