A flexible instructional program allowing students to complete coursework independently.
Shasta County Independent Study (SCIS) offers students opportunities to work individually with teachers to complete high school graduation requirements. SCIS provides flexible options for personalized, diverse learning to prepare students for both college and career.
Requirements include weekly appointments with teachers and completion of assigned work. The setting is appropriate for motivated students who can work independently with guidance from their teacher.
