The Redding Farmers Market is proudly operated by the Shasta Growers Association (SGA), one of the first Farmers Market Associations in California. Formed in 1977, SGA has been committed from the start to supporting local growers and fresh, seasonal food.

Today, SGA runs four certified markets—three in Redding and one in Burney—all approved by the Shasta County Agricultural Commissioner and the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Our flagship Saturday market is open year-round behind Redding City Hall and features weekly live entertainment during the summer. The popular Sunday market takes place near the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay, offering a scenic setting for fresh food and community connection.

We grow what we sell. We support local farms, fresh food, and the makers behind it all.

EBT/CalFresh, WIC, and Senior Nutrition benefits are all gladly accepted at SGA markets, making healthy food accessible for everyone.
