Using an Understanding of Brain Science for Intentional Responsiveness

September 30 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm

Join First 5 Siskiyou for the first session in the 2026–2027 Bob Lieberman Training Series, a transformative professional development series open to parents, educators, caregivers, practitioners and anyone in the community interested in the topic.

Using an Understanding of Brain Science for Intentional Responsiveness begins with an interactive exercise exploring the shapes and sizes of trauma, followed by an overview of neurodevelopmental principles. Participants will develop a common language for understanding and responding to the effects of overwhelming stress and trauma.

The session is presented by Bob Lieberman, MA, LPC, an author, counselor and longtime leader in youth and family mental health who trains professionals nationally.

There is no cost to participate, and lunch is included at all in-person trainings.

Registration: Register using the QR code on the event flyer or call 530-918-7222 to sign up by phone.

Upcoming Bob Lieberman Training Series sessions:
December 1 – Core Protective Factors of Resilience
February 3 – Relational Co-Regulation (Virtual)
April 14 – Community Flourishing
June 2 – Vicarious Trauma and Compassion Satisfaction (Virtual)
