The Tehama County Museum concludes its 2025 Lecture Series with archaeologist Dr. Greg White presenting on the 1846 Cottonwood Creek Massacre. Drawing on over 40 years of fieldwork focused on Northern California, Dr. White offers a factual, in-depth look at this pivotal conflict between westward settlers and Native Americans. A seasoned researcher and educator, he brings academic insight without bias to this important historical event.
