RFA Adult Sewing Classes build practical skills while fostering creativity in a supportive, small-group setting. No experience needed—machines, instruction, and basic materials are included.
Beginning students start with a patchwork zipper bag and learn machine basics. Projects may include a pillowcase and zipper bag, with progressive options tailored to each student’s skill level and interests.
Students learn how to operate a sewing machine, choose tools and fabrics, sew various stitches and seams, and follow simple patterns. Fabrics, machines, thread, and tools are provided. Students may also bring their own materials.
