Join us for Simpson University’s upcoming Ronald Reagan debate. There are sixteen regional competitions, and the winner of each will earn a spot at the national finals at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley. This is a fantastic chance for students in grades 9-12, regardless of whether they attend public, private, or homeschool programs. No debate experience is required.
The 2026 resolution for this regional competition is: “Resolved: As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary of self-governance, the Electoral College should be replaced by the popular vote in presidential elections.”
This regional invitational gives high school students the opportunity to sharpen their voice, think critically, and compete for national scholarships! This is an excellent opportunity for some motivated, talented local students to qualify for nationals and enhance their resumes.
