Don’t miss one of the biggest and most breathtaking fireworks shows in California—right here in Redding! Produced by the world-renowned Pyro Spectaculars, this free Fourth of July celebration lights up the sky with over 1,700 explosive shells in a dazzling display of color and sound, generously sponsored by the McConnell Foundation.

Freedom Festival Schedule:

• 5–9:55 PM: Food vendors open, offering dinner, drinks, and shaved ice
• 7 PM: Live music begins
• 10 PM: Fireworks show begins, choreographed to a soundtrack airing on Q97 (97.3 FM)

Pro tip: arrive between 6-9 PM. The Sundial Bridge and Civic Auditorium overpass will close at 9 PM for public safety and show preparation. Once parking lots are full, vehicle access will be restricted.
