It’s that time of the year to start thinking about summer, and summer jobs for teens are a great way to build not only a resume but also a well-rounded young adult!

Successful completion of this course allows participants to work for CARD at the 1-Mile Pool and Pleasant Valley Pool. The primary purpose of the Lifeguarding for CA w/Bundle 5 is to train Lifeguards to act with speed and confidence in emergency situations, both in and out of the water.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies (up to 10ft) and provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.

And if all of that isn’t enough, becoming a lifeguard will help your teen develop leadership skills, build lifelong friendships, and help ensure a safe and fun environment for your and their community!

Additionally, this First aid meets CA Title 22 regulations.
