Cheer on athletes during Redding’s inaugural IRONMAN 70.3! The race begins with a 1.2-mile swim at Whiskeytown Lake, followed by a 56-mile bike ride through Shasta County and a 13.1-mile run along the Sacramento River Trail, across the Sundial Bridge and through Redding’s riverfront parks. The finish-line celebration and IRONMAN Village will be located near the Redding Civic Auditorium.

Spectators will find some of the best viewing opportunities along the Sacramento River Trail, near the Sundial Bridge and around the Civic Auditorium finish area. Arrive early, bring water and sun protection, and review road closures and detours before traveling.
