These haunts use fog, strobe lights, intense audio, extremely low visibility, damp or wet conditions, special effects, sudden action, and moving parts. Scenes are created for ages 18 and older and props may contain gore, and violent scenes, and are rated “R”. Entering Hawes Haunts entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury. 

Risks may include, among other things, slipping, falling, collision with fixed objects or participants, bruises, sprains, twists, breaks, or seizures. Understand that such risks cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of this activity. By purchasing a ticket, it is expressly understood that you have been made aware of the risks and agree to assume all the risks associated with this activity. Your participation is purely voluntary and you elect to participate in spite of the risks.
