Celebrate and care for the Upper Sacramento River during Dunsmuir River Days! This free, family-friendly weekend brings the community together through environmental stewardship, live music, outdoor activities and a special water blessing.

Saturday, September 26

• River Cleanup — 10 a.m. at the Dunsmuir Community Building. Supplies provided.
• Free Community Picnic — Noon–2 p.m. at the Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens, featuring lunch, music, children’s crafts, fly-casting activities and park tours.
• Live Music — 6–10 p.m. at Bee Kind Bakery, featuring folk and bluegrass performances by Fog Holler and Colton Ort. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Sunday, September 27

• Water Blessing — 10 a.m. at Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy a spring blessing, water audio tour, light snacks and a discussion about our connection to water with Michael “Pom” Preston and Michelle Long.

All activities are free and open to the community.
