All members of the community are invited to attend the Children’s Memorial Flag Raising. The National Children’s Memorial Day was established by U.S. Congress resolution in April 2001 and designated the fourth Friday of April each year as a day of remembrance to recognize the tragedy of violence against children. Tehama County will observe a moment of silence and reflection to honor these young lives lost on April 26, 2024.
