Join the Oroville Chinese Temple, one of Oroville’s most treasured historic landmarks, for a festive Chinese New Year celebration filled with culture, tradition, and family-friendly fun.
Hosted by the City of Oroville and the Oroville Docents Association, this annual event invites the community to experience the sights, sounds, and stories of the Chinese New Year.
Event highlights include:
- Lion Dancer performance at noon
- Traditional arts and crafts activities for kids, inspired by Chinese customs
- Gift shopping and goods for purchase, featuring festive items and unique finds
- Cultural education and interpretation
- Student art show inspired by Year of the Horse
