Turtle Bay Exploration Park is accepting submissions for its 9th West Coast Biennial Art Competition & Exhibition, which will be on display January 29–April 18, 2027, at the Turtle Bay Museum in Redding.

Artists ages 18 and older who currently live in California, Oregon, Washington or Alaska may submit up to three artworks created within three years of the submission deadline. A wide range of mediums are welcome, including painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more.

Guest juror Karlo Henry Velazquez Fernandez, founder of Art Hunger and Arts Director for Viva Downtown, will select approximately 30–50 works for the exhibition. Six awards will be presented, including a $3,000 Best in Show prize. Winners will be announced at the exhibition opening on January 29, 2027.

Submission Deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026, by 5 p.m.
Eligibility: Artists ages 18+ living in California, Oregon, Washington or Alaska
