Give back to Gateway as a garden volunteer! On this Climate Action Day, join California Climate Corps to refresh the gardens and take action. Grab your friends and help plant winter crops, trim the trails or learn about compost – every hand makes a difference!

Please note there are two time slots to choose from: 10:00am – 12:00pm & 12:30pm – 2:30pm.

Our immersive native plant exhibits in Gateway Gardens highlight California’s diverse flora and habitats, demonstrate drought-tolerant systems in one of the warmest spots on campus, provide resources for local wildlife, and serve as a study-ground for university and high school student researchers.
