Join us for an evening of multi-generational storytelling at the Chico Women’s Club hosted by Bonnie Pipkin.
This will be an open mic for the community to share their MUSIC STORIES.
Ticketholders may put their name into their “age decade” to tell a 5 minute story on the theme. Think about the stories in your life that involve music – first concerts, learning an instrument (or quitting it), the slow dance that changed everything, the mix tape someone made you, the karaoke song that went horribly wrong (or right!), the songs that remind you of someone you lost, a parent’s favorite song you never understood (until you did), playing a song on repeat to learn all the lyrics, Christmas pageants, high school musicals, and on an on. Music is such a big part of our lives. What are the moments where it meant everything?
You can also put your name in to SING A SONG! We’ll have Michael Bone accompanying LIVE KARAOKE style!
Anything can happen these 2 nights! Join us for a joyful evening of storytelling and connecting.
