Tehama County Library invites families to its 2026 Backpack Distribution and Resource Fair! Free backpacks and school supplies will be available for students entering TK–12th grade. Students must be present to receive a backpack and supplies.

All youth ages 0–18 will also receive a free meal and a free book to help build their home libraries, courtesy of the California State Library’s Lunch at the Library grant.

Families are welcome to attend even if they do not need school supplies. Enjoy arts and crafts for kids and teens, face painting, touch-a-truck activities, community resources and more.
