Friends of the Chico Community Ballet, Inc. proudly presents the 34th Annual Keeping Dance Alive! 2026, a celebration of dance, storytelling, and local artistic talent featuring a special, family focused performance of Alice in Wonderland.

This special show of Alice in Wonderland will take place Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 PM. Matinee tickets are $10 for all seats, making it a wonderful opportunity for children and families to enjoy this beloved story ballet.

Following the special matinee, children and families are invited to stay for an autograph party with Alice and cast members from the production, creating a magical post-performance experience for young audience members. This show will be held at the Center for the Arts, 1475 East Avenue, Chico.

This one-act presentation of Alice in Wonderland brings Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale to life through imaginative choreography, vibrant characters, and enchanting theatrical design. Audiences will journey with Alice as she encounters the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Queen of Hearts, and a whimsical cast of unforgettable characters in a world beyond imagination.

This family-friendly performance promises something for everyone — and if your family loves this show, come see the full version of Keeping Dance Alive with even more dancing at 6 p.m. Friday April 17 and Saturday April 18.
