Join other parents and caregivers for Active Parenting, an interactive program designed to help families navigate the teen and pre-teen years with greater clarity, confidence and connection. Participants will leave with practical skills, helpful solutions and strategies for strengthening relationships with their teens and pre-teens.
Topics include handling tough conversations about drugs, bullying, sexuality and technology; effective discipline and communication strategies; understanding teen brain development and decision-making; and building confidence in youth in a supportive, welcoming environment.
The series is co-facilitated by Toby Reusze, a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, longtime family educator and Certified Domestic Violence Facilitator, and Mona Angelini, Community Schools Coordinator, Certified Wellness Coach and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
There is no cost to participate, and family dinner and child care are included.
