Come meet the artists at the opening reception!
Think fiber, dyed in incredible colors and how fibers can be woven and rearranged into a multitude of shapes, created by artists in the Tactile Dimensions: Art of Texture And Space, held in the Tehama Arts Gallery.
Artists will explore the versatility of fibers and how they can be braided, twisted, knitted, crocheted, knotted into forms and creations of art and used in everyday life. They will utilize the tactile dimensions and versatility of fiber art to capture and imitate the textures of the world around us.
The show will include quilts, smaller than 24” wide; painted, woven, macrame and textured art works; and photos and paintings showing texture and fibers.
The event is sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council.
