After 2 years of hosting this lively cultural event at the Barn at Meriam Park\, we have outgrown the space and moved to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds Pavillion! With this move we expanded our vendor attendance to over 100 local makers\, artists\, and sellers\, with 20 of those making up a diverse lineup of food stalls and trucks. We are also making space for a large dance floor to accommodate 3 live musical groups ranging from Mariachi\, Grupo Norteno\, and Cumbia. As well as 5 dance groups showcasing Folkorico and Aztec Dancing. \n“Though Día de los Muertos is traditionally celebrated in Mexican and Hispanic communities\, its themes of remembrance and love are universal.” said Lucia Mercado\, owner of Divine Sundays.  \nEvent Highlights: \n\nCommunity Altar – Add photos\, notes\, food\, or anything else that reminds you of your loved ones. The trail is abundant with different parks and connecting trails while it passes through the Sundial Bridge all the way up to Shasta Dam. Keep your eyes out for wildlife and be awestruck at the winding Sacramento River that neighbors this trail. \nThe trail is also paved and wheelchair accessible\, with easy access from the Sundial Bridge parking lot. Please note however\, that the trail is moderately difficult with some slight hills\, so having a partner to help push might be advised for wheelchair using guests. \n
