DESCRIPTION:If you have children\, you already know that play is essential for their learning and development. That’s why Godly Play is the cornerstone of All Saints’ spiritual formation program for children ages 4 and up. We offer Godly Play on the first\, second\, and third Sundays of each month at 10 am\, just prior to the 10:30am worship service. \nOn Godly Play Sundays\, children are invited to gather on the rug in the front of the church for a greeting and a story. Once the worship service has commenced\, the children may leave\, join their caregivers in the pews\, or stay with the storyteller and door person (the co-teacher) for the duration of the service; art materials and Godly Play stories will be provided for the children to work with so they can respond to the story they’ve heard\, create a new one\, or express what is on their hearts as they participate in the liturgy. Keep your eyes out for wildlife and be awestruck at the winding Sacramento River that neighbors this trail. \nThe trail is also paved and wheelchair accessible\, with easy access from the Sundial Bridge parking lot. Please note however\, that the trail is moderately difficult with some slight hills\, so having a partner to help push might be advised for wheelchair using guests. \n
