DESCRIPTION:Do you have a student who is motivated to learn and committed to the practice of music?  If so\, Ms. Sherilyn Greenlaw is the instructor you are looking for!\n\nAs a child Sherilyn discovered that music and creativity were at the core of who she is. Sherilyn is grateful to God that she has been blessed to do work that she loves and has the ripple effect of enriching the lives of others! She began studying music at age 10 and became a published composer and singer at age 15.\n\nSherilyn is a CA Clear – Credentialed with CLAD Multiple Subjects Teacher with Supplemental Authorization to teach Music\, and she currently teaches part time at Redding School of the Arts.\n\nSherilyn’s music classes are year-round at The Reading Basket on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.\n“I am eager to accept more motivated\, piano or recorder loving students\, whose parents are willing to help ensure their child has regular practice times.”\n\nTuition is charged by the month\, paid in advance\, based upon whether weekly lessons are 30 or 55 minutes. If a family has two children under 7 wanting to have 15 minute lessons\, that can be arranged at no additional charge. Generally speaking\, most students at the beginning level do well with a 30 minute weekly lesson. Intermediate level students may need a 55 minute lesson. The base charge is $40 / per 30 minute lesson\, $72 per 55 minute lesson per student. Students are also responsible to pay for their instruction materials.\n Additionally\, upon request\, Sherilyn will be happy to arrange a 1 hour small group instruction (due to space)  1 x / month on Friday or Saturday afternoons for Creative Movement with Worship Flags or Sm. Streamers. Limit of 5 people\, any age. The fee for 5 would be $20 each. Give your children ages 3-10  the opportunity to experience Hiking\, Child-Led Learning\, Natural History\, Nature Journaling\, Watercolor\, Jewelry Making\, Picnic Reading\, and more. Nature kids is taking interns (free of charge) ages 11-15. Nature kids will be offered by Amanda Newman\, a Chico local with a degree in Child Development and has taught in Early Education for over 7 years. Currently\, she teaches at Mighty Oak Nature School (for 3-5 yo) in Cedar Grove. Ratio will be 1:6 with 2 interns accepted weekly.  \nDaily\, Weekly and multi day rates are available.  \n*$50 non-refundable deposit required for registration.

DESCRIPTION:Whether you are eager for a walk\, itching to go on a run or bike along beautiful scenery\, the Sacramento River Trail is a wonderful way to experience the outdoors. The trail is abundant with different parks and connecting trails while it passes through the Sundial Bridge all the way up to Shasta Dam. Keep your eyes out for wildlife and be awestruck at the winding Sacramento River that neighbors this trail. \nThe trail is also paved and wheelchair accessible\, with easy access from the Sundial Bridge parking lot. Please note however\, that the trail is moderately difficult with some slight hills\, so having a partner to help push might be advised for wheelchair using guests. \n
