DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual seed and plant share\, organized by the Paradise Seed Library. \nTrade something you aren’t using for something you can use. Please bring extra homegrown seeds\, commercial seed packs\, plant cuttings\, bulbs\, rhizomes\, veggie starts\, potted plants\, scions\, soil amendments\, garden tools\, garden books\, homegrown produce\, yard art\, envelopes for seeds\, pens\, and other garden items to add to the excitement and offerings. If you don’t have garden items to share – that’s okay. All are welcome to participate. \nOpening at noon\, the seed sharing tables will be inside the venue. We will also have an outside area to share plants and other garden items. \nPrior to the main event\, from 11:30am to noon\, a special homegrown seed share will convene where those who brought seeds they saved themselves can trade and share growing tips. Some of the most interesting seeds are available at this session. This is a chance to talk with fellow local gardeners and get to know the plants and seeds they have grown in the past. Pick up tips and learn what grows best in our area. Some seeds may have a special history. \nHarvests & Habitats from Chico will have wonderful plants available for sale. The nursery specializes in edible\, medicinal\, pollinator-friendly\, and California native plants. Sherri Scott\, the nursery’s owner and operator\, will be on hand and is very knowledgeable. She is the perfect person to ask for advice on any plant you are buying. Sherri is a certified arborist\, educator\, and gardening community catalyst known for her expertise in local sustainable gardening. \nInformation booths with local organizations and gardening experts will also be on hand. This art show is a celebration of the diverse perspectives\, boundless imagination\, and artistic talent of students from around the area.\n\n\nThe exhibition highlights the diverse artistic talents of local students\n\n\n145 pieces are on display from TK through 8th grade student artists\n\n\nArtwork was inspired by lessons available in Turtle Bay’s Famous Artists Portfolio Program\, a free art resource for local students and community members\n\n\nThe Famous Artists Portfolio Program is led by volunteers at Turtle Bay and includes over 70 portfolios\n\n\nThose interested in learning more about the Famous Artists Portfolio program can attend a spring orientation on March 4 from 4-5pm at Zubie’s Classroom in the Turtle Bay Museum. DESCRIPTION:Turtle Bay Museum proudly presents Thomas D. Mangelsen: A Life In The Wild\, a breathtaking exhibition featuring 40 of the renowned photographer’s most resonant images\, on display from January 24 through May 3\, 2026. \nSpanning all seven continents\, the exhibition immerses visitors in stunning natural landscapes and the intimate lives of animal species from some of the Earth’s last great wild places. Created over decades\, the work reflects deep knowledge of animal behavior and the patience to wait for nature’s most powerful moments. \nAmong the photographs many visitors will recognize are Polar Dance (1989)\, showing polar bears appearing to dance across the Arctic ice; Mountain Outlaw (2014)\, a dramatic head-on charge of a grizzly bear through snow; and Catch of the Day (1988)\, which captures the precise instant a salmon leaps into the open jaws of a brown bear along Alaska’s Brooks River. Notably one of the most widely circulated wildlife photographs in history\, Catch of the Day was created before digital cameras and without manipulation. The exhibition showcases a breadth of subjects including mammals\, birds\, flowers\, and iconic landscapes from Alaska’s Denali Range to the African savanna. \nThese remarkable works by Thomas D. Mangelsen reflect more than 50 years of dedication as an artist and conservationist. His work has earned many top honors\, including Conservation Photographer of the Year\, placement in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History\, and recognition as one of the most influential and important photographers of his time. \nThe exhibition is free for members and included with admission. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday for winter hours.

DESCRIPTION:If you have children\, you already know that play is essential for their learning and development. That’s why Godly Play is the cornerstone of All Saints’ spiritual formation program for children ages 4 to 10. We offer Godly Play on the first\, second\, and third Sundays of each month at 10 am\, just prior to the 10:30 am worship service. \nOn Godly Play Sundays\, children are invited to gather on the rug in the front of the church for a greeting and a story. Once the worship service has commenced\, the children may leave\, join their caregivers in the pews\, or stay with the storyteller and door person (the co-teacher) for the duration of the service; art materials and Godly Play stories will be provided for the children to work with so they can respond to the story they’ve heard\, create a new one\, or express what is on their hearts as they participate in the liturgy. Enjoy spectacular views as you journey across the Sundial Bridge\, pass alongside the picturesque Sacramento River\, cross the charming Sulphur Creek Bridge\, and explore tranquil paths through the beautiful Arboretum Loop filled with local flora. \nSeating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. All riders aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Young children under 1 year old must remain on an adult’s lap. The train departs from Domke Plaza in front of the Museum. Last train departs at 2:45pm. \n$5 for member rider | $6 for non-member rider \nTickets can be purchased at the Museum Front Desk. Museum admission is not required.
