DESCRIPTION:Our youth summer camp is geared towards providing young climbers an environment where they can have fun and grow as a climber! It’s also a great way for young climbers to connect with other young climbers on a weekly basis. \nA typical day at camp consists of climbing\, drills\, games\, and team building skills. Nature kids is taking interns (free of charge) ages 11-15. Nature kids will be offered by Amanda Newman\, a Chico local with a degree in Child Development and has taught in Early Education for over 7 years. Currently\, she teaches at Mighty Oak Nature School (for 3-5 yo) in Cedar Grove. Ratio will be 1:6 with 2 interns accepted weekly.  \nDaily\, Weekly and multi day rates are available.  \n*$50 non-refundable deposit required for registration.

DESCRIPTION:Come see the show that brought some joy and laughter back to Paradise\, Ca. after the devastating Camp Fire! \nIn a miracle amidst the almost total devastation of the Camp Fire on November 8\, 2018\, our beloved little playhouse still stood.  By way of celebration in 2019\, we brought a very special installment of our popular “Radioland” shows to kick off the season and as the first show back in our beloved theatre after the fire.  Opening day was on Valentine’s Day 2019\, and we affectionately called the show\, “A Love Letter to Paradise.” \nWe gathered talented friends to perform this show under Jerry Miller’s masterful creative mind\, and in the process we were able to being the healing of so many broken hearts with the music\, joy\, laughs\, and the promise of a future for the Paradise community. \nWe are thrilled to share this very special show again to celebrate our 50th Anniversary!

SUMMARY:Art Classes for Children - Saturday Session
DESCRIPTION:Students learn the basics of drawing and painting with an emphasis on fun. The first two weeks of the month are focused on drawing and the later weeks on painting. Students work with various mediums\, including charcoal\, watercolor\, tempera\, colored pencils and watercolor pencils. More advanced students can work in acrylics\, pastel\, oil and collage mediums. Form\, perspective\, shading\, cartooning\, and painting methods are discussed as part of instruction. Biographies and works of master artists are also discussed during classes. \nOnce a week classes are offered year round.  Sign up any time!  Class size is limited\, allowing individual attention. \nSupplies are included for beginner and intermediate levels. There is a one-time $25 registration fee for new students. Drop in rate is $45. Private and semi-private lessons are also available\, please inquire.
