She is fluent in Spanish and English\, and is currently Executive Director at Siskiyou Domestic Violence and Crisis Center. \nFamily dinner and child care provided.  No cost to participants.

DESCRIPTION:Nature Kids will be offered in Cedar Grove. Give your children ages 3-10  the opportunity to experience Hiking\, Child-Led Learning\, Natural History\, Nature Journaling\, Watercolor\, Jewelry Making\, Picnic Reading\, and more. Nature kids is taking interns (free of charge) ages 11-15. Nature kids will be offered by Amanda Newman\, a Chico local with a degree in Child Development and has taught in Early Education for over 7 years. Currently\, she teaches at Mighty Oak Nature School (for 3-5 yo) in Cedar Grove.
