DESCRIPTION:Parenting A Second Time Around (PASTA) is an award winning curriculum developed by Cornell University to address the unique needs and support relative caregivers raising children. These classes are designed for Grandparents and other relative caregivers. \nThis free\, eight-week program provides insights\, strategies\, and a welcoming community to help you build a strong\, supportive family environment. We will focus on cultivating empathy\, nurturing through grief and loss\, child development and individual differences\, discipline with dignity\, selfcare techniques\, legal concerns\, and navigating the teen years. Childcare is included for both sessions.
