DESCRIPTION:Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia is a tragicomedy that explores the chaos and humor of romantic attraction alongside the existential question of free will versus fate. \nThe Shasta College Theatre Department will produce Arcadia\, October 9 through October 18\, 2026\, including a special morning show for high school audiences on Friday\, October 16 (for more information\, contact Jessica Nieves at jnieves@shastacollege.edu). \nDon’t miss your chance to be a part of this amazing production! Auditions open on August 24 and 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shasta College Theatre! Both community members and students are encouraged to participate. DESCRIPTION:Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia is a tragicomedy that explores the chaos and humor of romantic attraction alongside the existential question of free will versus fate. \nThe Shasta College Theatre Department will produce Arcadia\, October 9 through October 18\, 2026\, including a special morning show for high school audiences on Friday\, October 16 (for more information\, contact Jessica Nieves at jnieves@shastacollege.edu). \nDon’t miss your chance to be a part of this amazing production! Auditions open on August 24 and 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Shasta College Theatre! Both community members and students are encouraged to participate. Those auditioning should prepare a one-minute contemporary comedic monologue. \nArcadia is set in a time very close to our own\, when a group of scholars struggles to decipher an historical puzzle involving a hermit\, a poet\, and a scandalous affair.
