If we don’t hear from anyone who plans to bring a scope\, we may need to cancel. \nRide needed: One member in Mount Shasta would like to attend but does not have transportation. If you are going and can offer a ride\, please note that on the survey. \nThank you in advance.  I will update our membership early on Friday morning whether it is a go or not. \nClear skies\, \nJohn Rogers\nPresident\, Mount Shasta Stargazers \n\nSpend an unforgettable summer evening under some of Northern California’s skies with the Mount Shasta Stargazers. Bring the whole family to explore the night sky through telescopes\, spot constellations\, planets\, and deep-sky objects\, or simply relax in a lawn chair and enjoy the Perseid meteor shower.. \nThe event begins at 8:00 PM\, with observing conditions improving as darkness falls. Guests are encouraged to arrive before sunset to safely set up telescopes or binoculars.
