DESCRIPTION:Matsutake mushroom season opens September 16 on the Mount Shasta and McCloud Ranger Districts of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. \nAnyone harvesting Matsutake mushrooms on National Forest System lands during the fall season must purchase a valid commercial harvest permit.
