Visitors of all ages can get an up-close look at the first-quarter Moon\, including craters\, ridges and the dramatic terminator line where light meets shadow. \nBring the family and enjoy: \n\nMoon viewing through club and member telescopes\nBinocular viewing\nFriendly help for first-time stargazers\nViews of Venus shortly after sunset\nA chance to see Saturn later in the evening\nA welcoming\, family-friendly introduction to astronomy\n\nDress in layers\, as September evenings can be cold and windy. Bring a chair and a red flashlight if you have one. \nPlease note: The site has no water\, restrooms or trash service\, so plan accordingly and pack out what you bring. \nChildren should attend with a parent or guardian. \nThe Living Memorial Sculpture Garden is located on the west side of Highway 97\, approximately 13 miles north of Weed and 0.9 mile north of A-12.
