DESCRIPTION:Stable Hand – Community Integration & Work Experience Program \nA hands‑on ranch work experience program for adults with special needs. Participants help with barn\, corral\, horse\, bird\, and property chores in a calm\, structured environment that builds confidence and real‑world skills. \nActivities include barn care\, stall and corral care\, manure pickup\, water bucket cleaning\, corral safety checks\, bird‑cage care\, tack maintenance\, and brushing horses. \nSchedule: Monday through Sunday\, 1 day/week for 2 hours | year-round \nAdults with special needs who benefit from: \n\nPredictable routines\nHands‑on learning\nOutdoor work\nGentle physical activity\nA supportive\, structured environment\n\nParticipation Options \n\nWith a Personal Assistant\nWithout a Personal Assistant (Program structure is the same; support level differs.)\n\nRequirements \n\nMust be enrolled in the Self‑Determination Program\nMust have a Personal Assistant present during all sessions\nScheduling required — no drop‑ins\nA ranch tour is required before starting the program
