DESCRIPTION:Explore the work of renowned Chico artist and art historian Dolores Mitchell in this special exhibition June 9–July 17 showcasing decades of creativity. The collection features a variety of subjects\, styles\, and media\, including San Francisco-inspired scenes\, North State rice fields\, orchards\, bird refuges\, and local landmarks such as Bidwell Mansion and the Senator Theatre. \nA longtime professor of Art History at California State University\, Chico\, Mitchell holds a degree in painting and a Ph.D. in Art History from UCLA.
