Gather 'round for story time at the library! We'll share delightful tales perfect for little listeners, with plenty of chances to laugh, learn, and enjoy the magic of reading together. It’s the perfect way to spend time with your child and connect with other families.
March 19 - Spring storytime event with flowers donated by Anderson Safeway! Listen to stories and make a “mini” bouquet to take home. Participate in a flower sticker project with support provided by First 5 Shasta. All ages welcome—bring your little readers and join the fun!
Strum, sing, and jam with us at Ukulele Club! Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned player, all ages and all instruments are welcome. We meet every first and third Thursday of the month to practice, collaborate, and create music together in a fun, relaxed setting.
Join us Fridays at 10:30am for stories, songs, and more. Learn early literacy skills and activities you can take home to help your little one get ready for school and develop a love of reading. This program is geared towards three to five year olds and their adults. (30 minute program)

Our winter playgroups are focused on nature and filled with interactive and hands-on activities: sensory and messy play, art, stories, and cooperative games. At each playgroup we have animated story times together as a group. Each child will receive an age-appropriate book weekly. Come meet other parents and caregivers and make special memories!
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a teenager-based group at Shasta Public Libraries for ages 12-17.
