DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate these local and self-published authors with a morning of readings\, discussions\, and engagement. \nNakala Akasie is the author of the series “The Accounts of a Pleiadian Traveler.” Her newest novel “Lights of Boston Harbor” takes the reader into a world of the unseen. \nSean McCandless was a writing teacher before beginning his writing career. He pursues a varied career as a musician and visual artist as well as the author of the series of “50 Fun Facts” baseball books. \nJ. Curtis writes fiction about ordinary lives at the edge of change. He is the editor of “The Midnight Vault”and the author of ”Tiny Worlds” and the upcoming novel “Isla” \nOphelia the Mystic Muse is a multi-disciplinary artist and teacher as well as an author. She has written several books\, including “Keep It Simple\, Sojourner: Following the Path of Soulchronicity” \nIrony Sade grew up immersed in nature and surrounded by science\, leaving him with an abiding appreciation for both.  When he is not writing\, he takes care of animals\, performs advanced robotic surgery\, and sometimes dreams of dragons. \nMary Saint-Marie is an author and poet with many published works over the past two decades. Her most recent books are “Words from Nowhere: Mystic Poems from the Light of the Unborne” and “Primordial Return: Star-Stone Essence”. \nWarm beverages will be provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Mount Shasta Library.
