SUMMARY:RAD Summer Camp 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Regenerative Arts Development (RAD) and Learning Center Summer Camp is full of celebrating the sunshine and growing season. We celebrate the special magic that comes with long summer days and big sunflowers. Our schedule is jam-packed throughout the summer with garden time\, special guests sharing unique projects\, and nature-inspired arts and crafts. \nSummer Day Camp is a huge hit for kids of all ages who enjoy playing in the dirt\, making fairy houses\, and turning recycled materials into art. Each day includes tending to our lovely Kids’ Garden\, deepening connections to the fresh food we eat\, and making nature-inspired arts and crafts. \nCamp includes opportunities to dig deeper into permaculture topics in our garden\, personal development through social interaction outdoors\, and plenty of space to indulge the creative side/learn through creation with more complex projects and materials. We focus our teaching on being good stewards of our earth\, starting with the food we grow together. \nRecycled & Natural Arts & Crafts\nKids’ Garden & Nature Studies\nSolar Cooking\nMusic & Movement\nWeekly Special Guests

Discover nearly 200 species thriving in Gateway Gardens\, a gem and refuge in the community! \n\nAdults: $10.00\nYouth (ages 3-17): $5.00\nChico State and Butte College students: free admission!\nGateway members: free admission!\nMuseums for All Beneficiaries: $3.00\n\nGateway Science Museum is  a proud participant in Museums for All  a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Visitors receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits pay reduced admission of $3.00 per person with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and valid photo ID (up to four visitors per card).\n\n\nGroup Rate:\n\n$5 per person\, minimum of 15 people in the group
