After 2 years of hosting this lively cultural event at the Barn at Meriam Park\, we have outgrown the space and moved to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds Pavillion! With this move we expanded our vendor attendance to over 100 local makers\, artists\, and sellers\, with 20 of those making up a diverse lineup of food stalls and trucks. We are also making space for a large dance floor to accommodate 3 live musical groups ranging from Mariachi\, Grupo Norteno\, and Cumbia. DESCRIPTION:Watch your child discover the beauty of ballet at Kinetics! \nAges 5-8: We use creative imagery to teach beginning ballet concepts. At this level\, student begin to learn the structure of a traditional ballet class. Exercises are aimed at conditioning the body for dance and begin to focus on turnout\, the feet\, the abdominal muscles\, the back and stretches to gain flexibility. Students begin to learn the ballet vocabulary. \nAges 7-12: Classes are taught in an inclusive\, caring environment with an increased emphasis on technique and longer combinations. Students practice positions of feet and arms\, turns travelling steps and leaps. Dancers are also given opportunities for creative dance and independent choreography. Sherilyn is grateful to God that she has been blessed to do work that she loves and has the ripple effect of enriching the lives of others! She began studying music at age 10 and became a published composer and singer at age 15.\n\nSherilyn is a CA Clear – Credentialed with CLAD Multiple Subjects Teacher with Supplemental Authorization to teach Music\, and she currently teaches part time at Redding School of the Arts.\n\nSherilyn’s music classes are year-round at The Reading Basket on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.\n“I am eager to accept more motivated\, piano or recorder loving students\, whose parents are willing to help ensure their child has regular practice times.”\n\nTuition is charged by the month\, paid in advance\, based upon whether weekly lessons are 30 or 55 minutes. If a family has two children under 7 wanting to have 15 minute lessons\, that can be arranged at no additional charge. Generally speaking\, most students at the beginning level do well with a 30 minute weekly lesson. Intermediate level students may need a 55 minute lesson. The base charge is $40 / per 30 minute lesson\, $72 per 55 minute lesson per student. DESCRIPTION:Watch your child discover the beauty of ballet at Kinetics! \nAges 5-8: We use creative imagery to teach beginning ballet concepts. At this level\, student begin to learn the structure of a traditional ballet class. Exercises are aimed at conditioning the body for dance and begin to focus on turnout\, the feet\, the abdominal muscles\, the back and stretches to gain flexibility. Students begin to learn the ballet vocabulary. \nAges 7-12: Classes are taught in an inclusive\, caring environment with an increased emphasis on technique and longer combinations.
