This December 11th, Positive-I studio hosts their third Paradise Dancefest at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, featuring the exciting theme, “Circus de Paradise.” Geared for all ages, the show’s eclectic and entertaining mix of dancing, juggling, singing, music, hula hooping, acro yoga, poi and visual artists is sure to surprise and delight.
Community spirit is a big part of every DanceFest. Guests attending the Circus de Paradise show are encouraged to exhibit their own creativity by dressing up in the circus theme. In the venue’s lobby, artists and vendors from the community will welcome guests, and a photo booth will capture special moments. “Dancefest is about bringing the community together in a fun and safe environment,” says the show’s director, Christina Burton.
Positive-I studio itself is a fun, loving dance and yoga studio and event center for children and adults of all ages. The studio offers a unique variety of classes, workshops and activities that span dance, aerial yoga, massage therapy, and much more.
Each biannual Paradise Dancefest raises funds for the studio’s “Dream, Love, Dance” program, allowing the studio to offer scholarships to families needing help with tuition and performance fees. This enables new students to become a part of the Positive-I family, says Burton, who adds, “Everyone deserves to dance!”
Burton’s dream for Positive-I is that it create positive memories for everyone involved. With that in mind, “Circus de Paradise” is sure to be a memorable event. Show tickets are $10/presale and $15/day of show; ages 5 & under are welcomed for free. Purchase presale tickets at Positive-I, located at 6294 Skyway in Paradise. The Paradise Performing Arts Center is located at 777 Nunneley Rd. For more information visit http://www.positiveiparadise.com or call (530) 872-1939.
