Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink:

This outdoor ice rink has been operating in Ashland’s Lithia Park since 1996, making it one of the community’s most treasured winter activities. It’s right in the heart of the town, which is all dressed up for the holidays.
Hours: Adult hockey and family Stick and Puck skating sessions Sat-Sun 8-11:30am. General admission hours vary Dec-Feb; consult the online calendar. Christmas Eve 10am-3pm, Christmas Day 4-9pm.
Tickets: $5 for 14 and older, $4 youth 6-13. Skate rental $3.
Private and group lessons available. Consult calendar for times and pricing. No birthday party facilities this year due to COVID. Food available at local restaurants located in Lithia Plaza. Porta-potties are on site but changing rooms are not available, so come prepared to skate. Street parking available. Masks required to meet COVID guidelines.

Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza:

City Plaza will host Chico’s first outdoor ice skating rink for a festive downtown holiday experience featuring weekend entertainment by local performers.
Hours: Sun-Thu 3-9pm, Fri 3-10pm, Sat noon-10pm. Extended hours: Winter Break (Dec.18-Jan.2) noon-10pm. Christmas and New Years Eve noon-6pm, Christmas and New Years Day noon-8pm.
Tickets: General admission includes skate rental. $12 for 18 and older, $9 for children 12 and under, youngsters 4 and under are free. Group ticket prices are available to parties of 10 or more at a discounted rate.
Two party tents are available for rental on Fridays and Saturdays. Call (530) 345-6500 for pricing. Concession stand and nearby local restaurants are available. Restrooms available at rink. Paradise On Ice returns for its eighth year offering fun for all ages on a 4,000-square-foot outdoor ice rink.
Hours: Mon-Thu 2:30-8:30 pm, Fri noon-8pm, Sat noon-10pm, Sun noon-8pm. Extended hours: Winter Break (Dec.20-Jan.1) noon-10pm. ; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day noon-5pm.
Teen skate Fri 9-11pm, Group skate lessons Sat 10-11:30am, Adult skate 18 and older Sun 10-11:30am.
Tickets: Entrance fee includes skate rental. $12 individuals, $15 lessons and adult sessions, $5 teen skate night. Season passes include skate rental and admission: $150 individual, $300 for family up to 4 members, $50 five-visit pass, $100 ten-visit pass.
Nov. 11 — Veterans and active military skate free with military ID. Sponsorship days half-price:Consult online calendar.

Siskiyou Ice Rink:

This open-air rink is the only National Hockey League regulation-sized facility in the entire state, with majestic views of Mt. Shasta to enhance the skating experience.
Hours: Open daily. General admission and hockey hours vary. Consult the online calendar.
Tickets: $10 for 18 and older; $8 for 65 and older, youth 4-17 and active military. Skate rental $2; skates free for groups of 10 and more. Season skate passes include skate rentals and admission. $165 for 18 and older, $135 youth 4-17 and seniors 65 and older. $289 for family up to 4 members.
Hockey “All-Access” passes also include skate rentals, general admission and admission to pick-up hockey and Ice Breakers skill-building classes, practices and games. Additional USA Hockey membership fee may apply. $149 all ages, $309 for family up to 4 members. Tickets and passes may be purchased by credit card at the rink
